The best way to expand BlankApplication is to create a ba-extensions. We have already developped three extensions for you:

• ba-extension_openerp: an OpenERP connector. Get it on http://github.com/thinkdry/ba-extension_openerp
• ba-extension_translator: to centralise translations of all your BlankApplication running instances (coming soon)
• ba-extension_salesforce: a SalesForce connector. Get it on http://github.com/thinkdry/ba-extension_salesforce

To install an extension refer to install ReadMe attached to the extension. Documentation to be added. (FYI an extension is basically a Rails Plugin with some conventions, installation is based on submodule and rake task).
